Thank you for applying to the Cora J. Pope Trust Senior Grant Fund. We are a not-for-profit under the Presbyterian Church (USA) serving to continue the ministry begun by Cora J. Pope in Ottawa, IL.
The Cora J. Pope Trust Senior Grant Fund allocates grants to applicants respecting the vision and generosity of Cora J. Pope who sustained an active ministry for women through her home and endowment for 75 years so that residents could live with dignity and in comfort. The Cora J. Pope Trust Senior Grant Fund will continue to operate under the Cora J. Pope Trust Board of Directors and the Synod of Lincoln Trails as the Trustee:

Support for utilities (gas, water, electric)

Support for home repairs/renovations meeting safety or independent living (only for homes owned and resided in by applicants)

Support for rent or mortgage assistance

Support for emergency household systems (air conditioning, furnace, water heater in homes owned and resided in by applicants)

Support for assisted-living needs, including medical equipment or aids promoting safety and independent living and home health services

Applicant must submit the current application

Applicant must provide a photo ID showing current address
​

Funds paid directly to the vendor, landlord, or service provider
​

Vendor must provide a certificate of insurace and business license as applicable
​

Grant Administrator may approve partial awards
​

Grant Administrator may deny applications, with consultation available from the two designated Board Members
​

Applicants must be 55+ in age and reside within the PC USA Synod of Lincoln Trails
​
